Toolkit for People Who Have Been Impacted by a Suicide Attempt

This comprehensive toolkit, developed by the Mental Health Commission of Canada in collaboration with the Canadian Association for Suicide Prevention, CMHA Alberta, the Centre for Suicide Prevention, the Public Health Agency of Canada, and individuals with lived experience, offers practical strategies, peer support resources, coping tools, and guidance for those affected by a suicide attempt.


Toolkit for People Who Have Been Impacted by a Suicide Loss

Tailored to support those grieving a loss by suicide, this toolkit was created by the Mental Health Commission of Canada alongside key partners—including the Canadian Association for Suicide Prevention, CMHA Alberta, the Centre for Suicide Prevention, the Public Health Agency of Canada, and advisors with lived experience. It features strategies for self-care, safe ways to share your story, peer and professional supports, and messages of hope for navigating complex grief.
